Hyundai New Verna Fluidic Diesel

OVERVIEW
Hyundai India has launched the all-new 2011 Verna in India, it is based on the RB concept which is also sold as Hyundai Solaris in Russia. It will compete with the likes of Honda City, Fiat Linea, Maruti SX4 and Volkswagen Vento. Hyundai India launched Verna few years ago but it never managed to sell in good numbers because of odd styling and less features. The company also tried to boost the sales with the launch of Verna Transform but it also failed to impress the buyers.

Now, things are going to change with the 2011 model of Verna, it gets all-new head lights, tail lights, fog lights, bonnet, boot and alloy wheels. It is expected that New Verna will change the fortunes of the company like Accent did in the 1990s. The interiors are also new and fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. The top model of new Verna comes with power steering, power windows, automatic climate control system, steering mounted audio controls, leather upholstery, remote central locking system and rear centre armrest with cup holders. New Verna is also one of the safest cars in its segment. It features SRS airbags, front/rear disk brakes, parking sensors, anti-lock braking system and electronic brake distribution system.

Hyundai 2012 New Sonata MT

Hyundai Motor unveiled the long-awaited replacement for the Sonata – The 2011 Sonata YF at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2009. The new Sonata is set to be a revolutionary redesign for the mid-size sedan, incorporating a more modern, sportier design that radically deviates from the current generation’s more conventional style. Development of the 6th generation Sonata sedan took Hyundai engineers and designers 4 years and $372 million to develop. It is also equipped with the company’s latest powertrain technology that offer class-leading performance at no compromise of efficiency. It is expected that all new Sonata will shake the D+ sedan segment with its polarizing new design and features.

Hyundai i20 made it’s debut at the Paris Motor Show 2008. Similar to its predecessor i10, the i20 is being manufactured exclusively in India and exported to other countries. i20 has been very well recieved by Indian customers as it comes fully loaded with all the comfort and safety features which makes it different from other cars in same segment. Now, Hyundai India has gone a step further by expanding the model range of i20 with the launch of a diesel – CRDi – variant to compete with the likes of Skoda Fabia Diesel & Maruti Swift Diesel. Hyundai India has launched the all new i10 and it has been christened “Next Gen i10“. New Next Gen i10 features all new front grille, new headlamps, tail lamps, new front and rear bumper but the most significant change will be new engine with VTVT technology in the engine. Interiors of Hyundai New Next Gen i10 are more or less same like the current model but gets new color combination for upholstry.

Update: Hyundai Launches Next Gen i10 Blue Drive

The Next Gen i10 Blue Drive is powered by the 1.1 litre iRDE2 engine, it comes with an easy petrol to LPG shift that offers customers a unique combination of reliable performance and unmatched fuel economy. With separate Petrol (35 litre) and LPG (34 litre) tanks, the customers have an option to choose from LPG and petrol modes. The LPG tank in the i10 blue drive has a special ‘Toroidal’  LPG tank that allows intelligent use of space and makes for larger boot space than conventional LPG-fitted models.

Another feature of the Hyundai i10 LPG is AMS – Alternator Management System. Thanks to AMS (while decelerating, the power supply to the battery is normal and during acceleration it limits the power), battery life is increased and so is mileage. Another feature is the Manual Shift indicator (MSI), first in its class, MSI will intelligently suggest you optimum time to change gears, helping you achieve better fuel efficiency. The LPG-kit is ARAI certified and is impact resistant as well. It is also certified by DOE (Department of Explosives). The LPG-kit is also backed by a two year warranty.

Overview of Hyundai Eon
Hyundai India has unveiled the much-awaited small car ‘Eon’. It has nothing to do with the Hyundai Santro and i10. This car has been in talks from last year and it was codenamed as HA H800. Hyundai Eon will also be launched in other countries across the Globe. As expected, Hyundai India has priced Eon very competitively at Rs. 2,69,000 only for the base model (D-Lite) and Rs. 3,71,000 only for the top-of-the-line model (Sportz). These prices are ex-showroom New Delhi. Hyundai India has been able to price Eon so competitively because it has been developed in-house, will be manufactured only in India and will be exported to other countries like India is the manufacturing hub for i10, Santro and i20. The all-new Hyundai small car has been positioned below Santro and will compete with the likes of base model of Chevrolet Spark and top model of Maruti Alto. Eon sports 814cc 3 cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power of around 55 Bhp and maximum torque of 76.5 Nm. The fully loaded variant of Eon (Sportz) features power steering, front power windows, air conditioner, driver side airbag, body coloured bumpers, music system with 4 speakers, USB port, aux-in and remote levers for fuel lid plus tail gate.

Hyundai India has launched the Sante Fe in India, Santa Fe is Hyundai’s entry in the mid-size crossover utility vehicle market, competing against vehicles such as the Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Chevrolet Captiva. At present the Toyota Fortuner dominates the SUV segment with over 50% market share in its name and now it has to be seen that can Hyundai Santa Fe change the game.
